Americans want to travel with vaccines, where can they go?

Where can us citizens travel with a vaccine? Finland and Canada (effective as of 9th August) are the recent countries to open to vaccinated US citizens. Below is the complete list.

With the lifting of Europe’s US travel ban, the immense majority of European nations are now open to US citizens, despite whether they are vaccinated. However, some European countries are making it easier for the fully vaccinated US citizens against COVID 19; they can bypass a COVID 19 testing requirement.

Where can us citizens travel with a vaccine? Aside from European countries, more destinations around the world continue to open to vaccinated US travelers. In some cases, destinations may be open to both unvaccinated and vaccinated US citizens; for others, the government allows only vaccinated US travelers in the country. In other cases, vaccinated US citizens can skip an otherwise high-priced quarantine.

There is also an extensive range of exemptions for children who are too young to receive the vaccine. Depending on their age, they may need to prove negative COVID test results; they might be quarantined, or they may completely skip when traveling with vaccinated parents or guardians.

The universal web of rules and regulations remains to change daily, even as vaccination rates for US citizens continue in America and other nations.

Before traveling globally, it is imperative to check the US State Department’s detail on COVID-19 travel information and country-specific recommendations for the countries you are heading to as travel restrictions may change from what we will be listed below. And note that all global travelers above the age of two flying into the United States, regardless of whether they are vaccinated, must present proof of negative COVID19 test processed within 72 hours before boarding to the US.

The Centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) has detailed recommendations for travel during this pandemic for both unvaccinated and vaccinated US and other citizens/ travelers.
