Table of Contents
City Hunter
Give this one a try if you’re searching for a dramatic series with action, martial arts bouts, a well-thought-out revenge narrative, and romance. Lee Yoon Sung’s hidden identity is City Hunter, a man whose sole aim in life is to exact vengeance on those who murdered his father many years ago. Yoon-Sung has been preparing for this retribution even when he was a kid, and he avoids anyone who might divert his attention away from his goal. Despite his best attempts, he struggles as he grows feelings for a lady he works with.
I admired the director’s ability to balance romanticism and the attraction of vengeance. There were times when the anxiety was unbearable. Just don’t watch too many episodes at once, or you’ll get a myocardial infarction.
Kill Me, Heal Me
Kill Me, Heal Me is a light entertainment about a third-generation millionaire who is plagued by memory problems and multi-personality disorder due to a horrific childhood experience. He visits a psychiatric student, and she eventually develops feelings for one of his identities. After seeing this show, the terms “heartbreaking,” “heartwarming,” and “unforgettable” came to mind.
Pinocchio
Do you want to see a drama with a complicated story? You’ll be amazed as to how much it tries to cram into just 20 episodes if you watch it. Pinocchio depicts the story of a man who a callous reporter has wronged. He establishes ethos for his enemy’s daughter all of a sudden. She has “Pinocchio syndrome,” that makes her hiccup whenever she lies on a place. This almost always pushes her to tell the truth. I loved this drama since it was so beautifully and smartly directed.
Women of Dignity
If you want an intense and fast-paced adult drama with outstanding acting, dialogue, and humorous flourishes, you should watch this melodrama. The story of this movie revolves around the life of a wealthy family. With the advent of the new caregiver for the rich man, the elegant Woo Ah-Jin’s existence, which she enjoys thanks to her affluent father-in-law, begins to fall apart. Park Bok-Ja, the new caretaker, is not a wealthy person. She comes into the family with one objective: to become a part of the group and rise above the lower classes once for all.
Emergency Couple
This should be your first choice if you’re searching for an immediately captivating, fast-paced medical drama. The story of medical school pupils Oh Chang-Min and Oh Jin-Hee is told in Emergency Couple. They fell in love while in school, but they separated due to familial and financial pressures. As they cross paths again six years later while interning in the same hospital, they learn that there is no escaping love.
