Finally, while it’s impossible to foresee unexpected circumstances, you should do your best to be prepared. For instance, make sure you watch out for the weather. Check the forecast and wear waterproof clothing if necessary. In sunny weather, make sure you protect your skin by applying sunscreen. Your bike should also be equipped with a bike kit in case it breaks down. When you’re going for a longer ride, be sure to carry a bottle of water. It should go without saying that you should always have your cell phone and ID on you, as well as some money for emergencies.
