These contents are removed naturally and result in collapsed fat cells. These collapsed fat cells then reduce the volume of the waistline, hips, and thighs, and then the cell dies.

When you plan to have a lipo laser treatment, you require enough time to schedule with your doctor, and you have to visit your doctor for weeks. As the fat deposits for every person vary, so the treatment of every person also differs from one another, and so the number of sessions required.

So, it’s better to consult a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss all the treatments available. But it is important to discuss everything with your doctors such as expectations, health history, and budget before making a final decision.

You should make sure that it does not treat obesity and is not a miracle. It is just an alternative solution for traditional liposuction. The person that undergoes laser lipo must maintain his weight by having a proper diet and exercise to have long-lasting effects.


After the procedure, the patient may notice swelling, but as soon as the swelling gets off, the person can see the results as the entire fat has been removed following the procedure. According to medical reports of several patients, laser lipo is also successful in skin tightening of the targeted area.

This skin tightening feature of laser lipo makes it more appealing for the patients as compared to traditional liposuction that removes fats but is not able to tighten the skin.

Ideal Candidate for Liposuction:

The ideal candidate for laser fat removal must diet properly and perform exercise that will be conducive to weight loss and then helps in maintaining it. The person who does not have much weight to lose but is concerned about the fat deposit in certain areas can also prove to be an ideal candidate for body fat laser treatment.

Non-ideal Candidate for Liposuction:

The people who are not suitable for laser treatment are pregnant women and people with pacemakers. Laser lipo also won’t work in people who have some other reasons for weight gain like any underlying metabolic, hormonal, or other physical issues.
