  3. Go to the Internet Zone tab and look for the button ActiveX Controls and Plugins.
  4. Click on the following options to enable them, Download Signed ActiveX controls, Binary and Script Behaviors, Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting, and Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins.
  5. Hit the OK option and leave the Internet Explorer window.
  6. Now try to connect with the bank account and check if you are still getting the QuickBooks error 101.

Solution 4: Enable TLS 1.2 and Change the Settings of Encrypted Pages

  1. Click on the Advanced window and scroll it down.
  2. Ensure that you have checked bx Use TLS 1.2.
